Vernon Studios offers comprehensive conservation and restoration treatment of paintings on canvas, panel and board. This ranges from structural treatments such as lining and tear repair, removal of discoloured varnish, and visual reintegration of damaged areas.

We specialise in the conservation treatment of Indigenous Australian artworks, Australian artworks in the European tradition, and Old Master paintings.

Ongoing care and maintenance of collections, including assessment and condition reports, on-site visits, and advice on handling, transport and hanging and framing, including any necessary referrals to other specialists. We also provide climate controlled storage at our studio in Alexandria, Sydney.

We provide storage in a large, purpose-built facility. It is protected by CCTV security, and is climate controlled using air conditioning and humidity controls with 24 hour environmental monitoring.
